Anonymous Girl Poem by Teny Gatwech Deng

The poem “Anonymous Girl” paints a vivid picture of a woman who maintains a low profile despite her many admirable qualities. The poet’s admiration for her beauty, voice, and character is evident, and yet there is a sense of distance and mystery that surrounds her. This contrast between her public anonymity and private allure creates a compelling narrative about privacy, admiration, and longing.

ANONYMOUS GIRL.

She doesn’t post as most do,
Who don’t post this day of rapid changing world,
On her profile another pic which is not her photo,
She is very private and vigilant on uses of media,
With figure she is bless, beautiful is all over.
Yet she is the anonymous girl.

Ooh! Her voice is another rhythm,
A lovely rhythm like of an unfinished song,
I always wanted to listen more of it, more of her voice,
Like small child needed her mother milk,
“u will wen I will recover” She like to says,
When she recovered from cool, which affect her throat at sometimes.
Am hitting on her secretly, but the distance we are in,
Separate us when I thinking she has my heart,
Yet she is the anonymous girl.

She has a robust system with her life,
I confirm that in her words, she is sexy,
And very diligent human who know where she,
Is heading. This makes her sexy in my own,
Little world. Asking God to meet her,
In my prayers is the wired prayer I ever give,
And asked God for, hope He will listen,
Yet she is the anonymous girl.
